The Benefits of Great Design

A great new book just hit the market that is finally drawing tangible connections between great design and a company’s success.

How Great Design Makes People Love Your Company by Robert Brunner and Stewart Emery discusses how great design does more than sells products…it creates lasting relationships with your customer (i.e. brand). Think Target, Apple and Nike. When these companies put a premium on design, they cemented their place in consumer’s hearts.

Get Inspired!

Have you every heard of Seth Godin? He’s a great writer who focuses on marketing, innovation, branding and the big idea. If you haven’t read or listened to any of his audio books…I highly recommend it.

I always read them when I need a pick-me-up. It reminds me why I love this business. Here’s a few of my favorites.

• The Dip
• The Big Moo
• The Purple Cow
• The Big Red Fez

You can pick them up at his website .

Want more? Check out one of my favorite articles on his blog. We should all try harder…each and every day…to make something remarkable.

Mr. Godin’s books and articles are direct, accessible and meaningful. Just the way a brand should be. Brilliant!
